Common Law Admission Test is conducted every year by one of the National Law Universities (NLUs) in rotation. The organising NLU is chosen one among those in CLAT committee by the year of their establishments. The CLAT committee currently comprises 18 NLUs including Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU) Nagpur.:

CLAT Eligibility Criteria 2017
Candidates need to go through eligibility criteria of CLAT 2017 as specified by the law examination committee. Knowing CLAT eligibility conditions are important because these are the defined prerequisite norms for appearing in the law examination. CLAT 2017 eligibility criteria mentions minimum academic qualifications and marks percentage along with the age bar for applying for the law programmes. Following the common eligibility criteria of CLAT 2017, candidates applying for UG law programmes need to qualify 12th board examination (Intermediate examination) of 10+2 educational system, scoring at least 45% marks in the aggregate of subjects studied at 10+2 level. Continuing with the common criteria, those who are applying for postgraduate programmes need to have an LL.B degree with a minimum score of 55% marks in the final year of law degree examination. Moreover, those applying for five-year undergraduate programmes through CLAT 2017 need to be equal to or less than 20 years of age, as per the new change in admission policy after a BCI order.
CLAT Application Form 2017
CNLU Patna will begin application form of CLAT 2017 from January 1 aspirants can fill CLAT 2017 online application form only after registering themselves for the common law admission test. CLAT 2017 registrations can be done by providing a valid e-mail id and mobile number. The online applications of CLAT 2017 can be filled after logging into the application form window through CLAT 2017 registered account and password. Candidates will also need to pay an application fee of Rs. 4000 before submitting the form. CLAT 2017 application form needs to be filled before the last date, i.e., March 31, 2017; otherwise no applications will be entertained thereafter.
